Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Tycana (the productivity service at app.tycana.ai). By using Tycana, you agree to these terms.

The Service

Tycana gives your AI assistant a memory — it stores your tasks, tracks what matters, and helps your AI deliver useful answers across conversations. The service includes AI assistant integration, calendar feeds, and daily email briefings.

New accounts get a 14-day free trial with full access.

Your Data

You own your data. Your tasks are stored in your Tycana account. Your data is stored on our servers and accessible via MCP connections from your AI assistants.

You can delete your cloud data and account at any time from your Settings page. Active subscribers must cancel their subscription first via the Billing page. If you cancel your subscription, access continues through the end of your billing period. Your data is retained for 30 days after cancellation in case you resubscribe.

Accounts

You need an account to use Tycana. Accounts are authenticated via email magic links. You are responsible for maintaining access to your email address.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that are used to abuse the service or violate these terms. You can delete your account and cloud data at any time from Settings. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Tycana is not intended for users under the age of 16.

AI Assistant Access

Tycana lets AI assistants read and manage your tasks on your behalf via a secure connection. Access requires a token or OAuth credentials generated from your dashboard.

Treat your tokens like passwords. You are responsible for which AI tools and assistants you grant access to. You can revoke tokens at any time from your dashboard.

Acceptable Use

Don’t use Tycana to:

  • Store illegal content
  • Abuse the API (automated scraping, excessive requests beyond normal use)
  • Attempt to access other users’ data
  • Reverse engineer or attack the service

Payments

Subscriptions are billed via Polar, our merchant of record. See our Pricing for current plans and our Refund Policy for cancellation and refund details.

We may change pricing with 30 days notice. Price changes don’t affect active annual subscriptions until renewal.

Calendar Subscriptions

Calendar feeds use unique URLs. Treat your feed URL like a password — anyone with it can see your scheduled task titles, times, and projects. You can regenerate your feed URL at any time to revoke previous access.

Service Availability

Tycana is provided as-is. We make reasonable efforts to keep the service running but don’t guarantee uptime or data durability.

We are not liable for any damages arising from service interruptions, data loss, or bugs. Our total liability is limited to the fees you’ve paid in the past 3 months.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via the email on your account.
